Home inspections are performed to identify and report the features in a house. They can help people buying and selling homes to understand the condition of the house and anything that may increase or decrease its value. It also helps homeowners make full use of the features of their homes and make purchasing decisions from the inspection report.
Our property inspectors look at just about every part of a house to report anything out of the ordinary, from minor defects to major structural issues. They typically start by inspecting the inside of the home, which includes living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, toilets, laundries and hallways. The features within these rooms are inspected too, such as floors, ceilings, walls, doors, lightings, cupboards and anything else the rooms host.
The non-visible parts of the house are important to capture too. Inspectors will evaluate the roof cavities, insulation and water systems. Finally, the outside features, such as fences, driveways, gates, drainage, gutters, tiles, downpipes and vents will be inspected for damages or defects.
Inspections can often be completed in a matter of hours, and we can usually inspect your property within 24 hours of your instruction.
